  • Computer Science (BSc)
  • Electrical Engineering (BEng / BSc)
  • Electronics Engineering (BEng / BSc)
  • Information Technology (BSc / BComm)

Benefits for Recipients

  • Covers tuition fees, registration costs, and prescribed textbooks
  • Renewable annually, subject to academic performance and fund availability
  • Requires paid vacation work for a minimum of eight weeks per year
  • May require employment with Bell Equipment for a duration equivalent to the funding received

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must be a South African citizen
    Full-time student entering the second year of study in a qualifying field
  2. Enrolled at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa (university, university of technology, or FET college)
  3. Achieved a minimum overall average of 65% in the current academic year
  4. Not receiving other bursary funding, except academic performance grants from the institution
  5. Passionate about design and innovation; energetic and highly motivated
  6. Agreement with the bursary’s terms and conditions (as per application form)

  • Certified copy of your South African ID
