Sasria Bursary South Africa 2025

Sasria, the South African Special Risk Insurance Association, is a non-life insurance company established over 40 years ago.

Inspired by the bravery of young South Africans during the Soweto Uprising, Sasria provides specialized coverage for risks such as politically motivated acts, strikes, riots, terrorism, and public disorder.

The company insures government institutions (hospitals, municipalities, schools) and private organizations, upholding values like passion, honor, transparency, and innovation.

Sasria’s commitment extends beyond insurance, fostering the future generation through its bursary program.

About Sasria Bursary

The Sasria Bursary is designed to support students pursuing undergraduate degrees in fields considered scarce skills by the company.

This initiative aims to cultivate a pipeline of talented young individuals who align with Sasria’s values and contribute to the organization’s success.

The bursary covers tuition fees, accommodation, textbooks, and potential additional allowances like travel and study materials.

This financial aid allows students to focus on their studies without the burden of financial constraints.
