Schauenburg Education Trust Bursary 2026 is open for South African students studying scarce skill degrees. If you are in your second, third, or fourth year of Electrical Engineering or Business studies at a Gauteng university, this is your chance. Up to full tuition and living costs are covered. About Schauenburg Education Trust

The Schauenburg Education Trust supports students in developing scarce skills for South Africa’s economy. The trust mainly funds students in engineering and business fields, with a strong focus on transformation, youth empowerment and women in STEM.

Bursary Details for 2026

  • Fields: Electrical Engineering (BEng/BSc), Business Management, Business Administration (BCom)
  • 100% tuition, registration, and exam fees
  • Accommodation allowance (University hostel rates)
  • Living allowance and textbook support

Who Can Apply?

  • South African citizens with a valid ID
  • Black students as defined by B-BBEE, preferably women or students with disabilities
  • Full-time second, third, or fourth year students in eligible degrees
  • Studying at these Gauteng universities: UP, UJ, NWU (Vanderbijlpark), Wits
  • Must have passed all current courses and made good academic progress
  • Willing to attend interviews, testing and vacation work at Schauenburg Systems
