There is no single national application form for TVET colleges, so you apply to each college you are interested in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you start<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decide on a programme type: the NC(V), an occupational qualification or a skills programme. NATED N1 to N3 no longer take new students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the entry requirement for that programme at the college, since it is set per programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scan your ID, latest results and proof of address so they are ready to upload.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use your own cellphone number and email address, because offers and registration dates are sent there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How online applications usually work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the college&#8217;s official website and find the online application link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a profile or account with your ID number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a campus and up to the number of programmes the form allows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload your documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit and save the reference number the system gives you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Watch for an SMS or email about placement tests, an offer or registration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>After you apply<\/th><th>What it means<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Pending or received<\/td><td>The college has your application and has not decided yet<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Provisionally accepted<\/td><td>You have a place if you meet the remaining conditions, such as final results<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Accepted<\/td><td>Register on the date the college gives you<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Unsuccessful or waiting list<\/td><td>Apply for another programme or campus, or to another college<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Funding comes separately<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A college place and NSFAS funding are two applications. NSFAS runs its own window for 2027, open from 18 September to 31 October 2026, and only funds you once you are registered at a public college.
