In April 2026, 12,000 students were left out because of data inconsistencies between colleges and NSFAS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your bank details are missing or the account is inactive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You were classified for the wrong allowance type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your funding status is not yet approved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check your funding status and bank details on <a href=\"https:\/\/my.nsfas.org.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myNSFAS<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm with your college financial aid office that your registration was submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep proof of registration and attendance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the problem remains, lodge a query through NSFAS channels with your ID number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2027 payment schedule will follow registration in early 2027.
