You write matric rewrite exams at an examination centre assigned by your provincial education department, usually a school or district venue near where you live. You choose the area when you register, so registration is the step that decides where you write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registering to rewrite<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to eservices.gov.za<\/a> and choose the National Senior Certificate registration for part-time or second-chance candidates, or visit your district education office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Enter your ID number and your previous examination details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Select the subjects you want to rewrite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Choose the province and district where you will write, so you are placed at a nearby centre.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Save your confirmation and check your details carefully.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
