Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC) does not list a matric upgrade or rewrite programme on its website. Like other public TVET colleges, it offers vocational and occupational programmes. To improve your matric results, register with the Department of Basic Education (DBE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upgrading matric in Ekurhuleni<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Register for the Second Chance Matric Programme online at eservices.gov.za<\/a>, or at a Gauteng district education office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Choose the subjects you want to improve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Use the free DBE study support and materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Write the May\/June examinations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Registration for the 2026 May\/June examinations closed on 6 February 2026; expect the next window to open around October 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    EWC applications are online: placement test first, then the iEnabler application. Paper forms are not used.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
