Public TVET colleges do not register students to rewrite the National Senior Certificate. Matric rewrites are handled by the Department of Basic Education. A TVET college can still help if your matric results are holding you back, by offering a different qualification at the same NQF level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why some college pages mention matric upgrades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some colleges have shared information about the DBE programme or hosted support classes, and private colleges often advertise matric tuition. Check college-specific answers for Sedibeng<\/a> and Ekurhuleni West<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to rewrite through the DBE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Register for the Second Chance Matric Programme online at eservices.gov.za<\/a> or at a district education office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Choose the subjects you want to improve.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Use the free study materials and support.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Write the May\/June examinations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
