SANC&#8217;s information indicates that the last intake for that programme was in 2019. Today, the way up the nursing ladder is through the new SANC qualifications at accredited colleges and universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happened to the bridging course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The bridging course (known by its regulation number, R.683) let enrolled nurses train further as general or psychiatric nurses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It was a legacy qualification.
