It is not listed on Unisa&#8217;s current <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unisa.ac.za\/sites\/myunisa\/default\/Student-Affairs-&#038;-SRC\/Student-funding:-bursaries-&#038;-loans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unisa&#8217;s student funding page<\/a>, so do not wait for it. Unisa now funds students through NSFAS, a merit bursary and several bursaries it manages for outside funders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the Council bursary was<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2017: R99 million for South African students in a formal qualification with at least a 55% average, after a means test.
