The University of Zululand is a public university located in KwaDlangezwa, KwaZulu\u2011Natal, South Africa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes <\/a>across faculties including Arts, Commerce & Law, Education, Science & Agriculture, and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNIZULU fees are charged per module for undergraduate degrees and annually for postgraduate qualifications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNIZULU Application Fee 2027 (Non\u2011refundable)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before you can register, you must first apply and pay a non\u2011refundable application fee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNIZULU does not take undergraduate applications directly. You apply through the Central Applications Office (CAO), and the university’s 2026 undergraduate brochure put the CAO application fee at R250 for that cycle. The CAO sets the fee, so check the current CAO handbook for the amount that applies to 2027 applications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These application fees are required when submitting your application form and are not refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programme lists and admission requirements are on the official UNIZULU admissions portal<\/a>, and the application itself is submitted on the CAO website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNIZULU Registration Fee 2027 (Initial Payment)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At UNIZULU, students must make a Minimum Initial Payment (MIP) before they can complete their registration for the academic year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initial payment is set to secure your registration and is credited toward your overall fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the latest official guidelines and fee structures:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Self-funded students placed in a residence: the registration FAQ says you pay 50% of the residence amount as a deposit once you have been accepted into an available residence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Paying a residence deposit does not guarantee you a room, because bed spaces are limited. Other self-funded students should confirm the amount due at registration with Student Accounts (fees@unizulu.ac.za).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. NSFAS\u2011funded or fully funded students: No initial payment is required if funding is confirmed prior to registration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Payments must be made before the registration deadline, and proof of payment (such as bank deposit slips or electronic transfer receipts) must be uploaded or presented as instructed by the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    UNIZULU Tuition Fee Structure per Faculty<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    At UNIZULU, tuition fees for undergraduate degrees are charged per module on a semester basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This means the total cost you pay depends on the number of modules you register for and the credit value of each module. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    UNIZULU has not posted a current fee booklet on its website (the latest one online is the 2021 Student Fee Guide), so use the fee quote on i-Enabler at registration, or ask Student Accounts, for the rate that applies to your modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
