To be considered for this prestigious bursary, you’ll need to submit a comprehensive application package. This includes:

  1. South African citizenship: This bursary is solely open to South African students.
  2. Residency: You must reside within one of the designated local communities or labour sending areas of Operating Segment Platinum Rustenburg.
  3. Academic performance: You must have achieved a university acceptance pass in Matric with a minimum APS of 23. Additionally, you must have obtained at least 60% for English, Mathematics, and Physical Science.
  4. Field of study: The bursary is available for students pursuing undergraduate degrees in specific fields aligned with Sibanye-Stillwater’s operations, including:
    • BSc Mining Engineering
    • BSc Mechanical Engineering
    • BSc Electrical Engineering
    • BSc Metallurgical Engineering
    • BSc Geology
    • BSc Chemical Engineering
    • Finance
    • Survey
  5. University registration: You must be either registered or accepted to study for one of the aforementioned qualifications at a South African university.
