Swartland Municipality Bursary Eligibility Requirements

To be qualified for the Swartland Municipality Bursary, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  1. Be a South African citizen.
  2. Be permanently residing within the Swartland Municipality area.
  3. Be between the ages of 17 and 35 years old.
  4. Have completed Matric or be currently in Matric with a minimum average of 60%.
  5. Be enrolled or intending to enroll full-time in an accredited tertiary institution for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a field relevant to the Swartland Municipality’s development needs.
  6. Demonstrate financial need.
  7. Not be in receipt of any other bursary awards.

Preference will be given to:

  1. Students from previously disadvantaged groups.
  2. Students with disabilities.
  3. Students residing in rural areas within the Swartland Municipality.
