Saldanha Bay Municipality on the West Coast of the Western Cape, which covers Vredenburg, Saldanha, Langebaan, Hopefield, St Helena Bay and Paternoster, funds local students in the engineering and planning fields it needs to run the town. The bursary is worth up to R70 000 a year and is aimed at residents from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Not receiving a bursary from any other source.
Preference for applicants from historically disadvantaged backgrounds and applicants with disabilities.

How to apply for the Saldanha Bay Bursary

Collect the application form from Human Resource Services or download it from the municipal website when the advert appears.
Attach certified copies of your ID and Matric results or certificate, the institution’s acceptance letter and fee structure, proof of household income, proof of residence in the municipal area and a motivation letter of no more than 1 000 words.
Hand-deliver the application to Human Resource Services, Saldanha Bay Municipality, 21 Main Road, Beansa Building, first floor, Vredenburg, before the closing time. Emailed and faxed applications are not accepted.
