The Foskor Bursary is offered by Foskor Pty Ltd, a South African company engaged in phosphate rock mining and phosphate-based fertiliser production.

The bursary supports full-time undergraduate Bachelor’s degree students in fields that align with Foskor’s business needs and South Africa’s mining and engineering sectors.

What does the Foskor Bursary cover?

The bursary typically covers tuition fees, registration fees and study materials for the duration of the degree, subject to satisfactory performance and a service obligation (in recent years this has been noted in some postings).

Recipients may be required to undertake vacation work or internships with Foskor during their course.

The bursary is open to all races and genders but is aimed at “talented and deserving” students who demonstrate academic ability and commitment.
