Sassa Grant Payment Amounts for June 2026

On 1 April 2026, Sassa grant increases announced by Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana came into effect. These increased grants will be collected in June. Here are the payment amounts for June:

• Older Persons grant: R2,180
• Older Persons (75 years and older): R2,200
• Disability grant: R2,180
• War Veterans grant: R2,200
• Care Dependency grant: R2,180
• Foster Care grant: R1,180
• Child Support grant: R530
• Child Support grant (Top-up): R530 + R250
• SRD Grant: R370

Sassa Grants to Increase in October

On 1 October 2026, Sassa grant beneficiaries can expect another increase. Here are the announced increases:
