Fields of Study Funded
The bursary supports full-time study in these engineering disciplines at accredited South African universities or universities of technology:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
Benefits for Recipients
Selected recipients may receive funding for:

- Prescribed materials and textbooks
- Potential accommodation support, depending on assessed need and funding levels
The bursary removes financial barriers, allowing you to focus on academic and technical development.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, you must meet every requirement:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be in Matric or have completed Matric
- Have a minimum overall average of 60% in Matric
- Be accepted into an accredited degree programme in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Demonstrate financial need via household income proof or affidavit
Incomplete or ineligible applications will not be considered.

- Complete all form sections accurately.

- Scan and compile all required documents (see below).

- Latest academic results (Matric June or full Matric certificate)

- Fee schedule or invoice from your institution

- Parent or guardian proof of income or affidavit if unemployed
