Fields of Study Funded

Funding is available for teaching qualifications in these specialist areas, offered at selected Trinityhouse schools (Centurion and Roodepoort, Gauteng):

• African Languages (First Additional Language)
  
• Early Childhood Development
  
• Foundation Phase teaching
  
• Mathematics teaching
  
• Science teaching
  Applicants must be in 3rd or 4th year of study, full-time or part-time.

• At least one practical teaching placement at a Trinityhouse school (subject to feasibility)

Eligibility Criteria 

To qualify for this bursary, you must meet all of the following:

• Be a South African citizen
  
• Be studying towards a teaching qualification in one of the listed subject areas
  
• Be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in your 3rd or 4th year
  
• Demonstrate passion for teaching and helping others
  Failure to meet any requirement disqualifies your application.
