Analyze Consulting is a South African consultancy established in 2007, specialising in business process improvement, project management, and systems quality assurance. 

The company invests in emerging consulting talent through its bursary and learnership programme aligned with B-BBEE priorities.

Fields of Study Funded

The bursary supports full‑time Honours‑equivalent degrees in:

  • Information Systems (BBusSc or BCom Honours)
  • Industrial Engineering (BEng Honours)

You must study at one of the participating universities: UCT, Wits, Rhodes University, or Nelson Mandela University.

Benefits for Recipients

Successful applicants receive:

  • One year of full tuition, registration, and exam fees
  • A textbook allowance of up to R7 000
  • A one-year paid internship in Cape Town or Johannesburg
  • Exposure to consulting environments, mentorship, and potential full-time placement upon completion

Eligibility Criteria 

All of the following conditions apply:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Identify as Black African, Coloured, Indian or Chinese, per B‑BBEE definitions
  • Completed Matric and registered for Honours-equivalent study in 2026
  • Academic average of at least 60% in the 2nd and 3rd year
  • Matric English competence at level 4 (Home Language) or level 5 (First Additional Language)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and genuine interest in consulting

How to Apply

  1. Visit the Analyze Consulting bursary portal or partner university bursary pages when applications open—look for Honours bursaries in Information Systems or Industrial Engineering.
  2. Complete the online application form and upload documents.
  3. In the field “Where did you hear about bursaries?”, enter “www.bursariesafrica.co.za.”
  4. Submit your application before the official closing deadline.

Required Documents

Attach certified versions of:

  • South African ID document
  • Matric certificate (showing required English level)
  • Full academic transcript from 1st – 3rd year or equivalent
  • Proof of current Honours enrolment or admission for 2026
  • Updated CV with relevant activities
  • Motivational letter explaining academic interest, consulting career goals, and analytical ability (approx. 1500 words in older cycles)
