The Bloemhof Beursfonds Trust traces its origins to a boarding establishment founded by a Dutch Reformed Church minister in Stellenbosch in 1876. Registered as a trust in 2002, it funds Afrikaans-speaking students with strong Matric results through undergraduate degrees at Stellenbosch University, covering fees, books and board.

South African citizen who completed Matric with Afrikaans as the language of instruction at school.
At least a 75% overall aggregate in the final Matric results.
Enrolling, or already enrolled, for an undergraduate degree at Stellenbosch University.
Household income below the trust’s threshold, and a demonstrated need for support.
