The Canon Collins Trust and University of London Scholarships for Distance Learning are a remarkable opportunity that allows postgraduate study via distance learning.

About the Scholarship

This scholarship supports study for the Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, and/or the Master of Laws (LLM) by distance learning through the University of London. 

You may start at any level and progress through the entire program or stop after completing only the certificate or diploma stages.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must meet every one of the following conditions:

1. Be a national of, or have refugee status in, one of these countries: Malawi, South Africa, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.
2. Be normally resident in one of these countries.
3. Possess the necessary qualifications required for admission to the University of London programme, though formal admission can be submitted separately upon selection.
4. Be currently employed either full-time or part-time.
5. Be able to dedicate at least 10 hours per week to your studies.
6. Use of AI tools is strictly prohibited; all application content must be your own original work.

What the Scholarship Includes

• The scholarship fully waives tuition and examination entry fees for four selected recipients.
• You are allowed between 1 and 5 years to complete the qualification, with a requirement to complete at least two modules per year.
• Ongoing registration depends on satisfactory progress and academic reports.
