The Pinnacle Bursary is part of Clover’s effort to develop talent in critical fields and to recruit people who will grow with the business.

Fields of Study Funded

Studies eligible for the bursary are in STEM disciplines, including (but not necessarily limited to):

1. Engineering
2. Biology, Chemistry, Physics
3. Food Science, Microbiology
4. Mathematics

• Work-back obligation: recipients likely must work for Clover for a period after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

You must meet all of the following:

1. Be a South African citizen.
2. Be in Matric, or have completed Matric, or be a university student.
3. A minimum overall average of 65% in Matric and/or in your previous year’s final exams if already at university.
4. Strong performance in STEM-related subjects (especially if your field is Engineering, Science, etc.).
5. Able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
6. Willingness to enter into a funding/work agreement.
7. Willing to do vacation work at a Clover site.
8. Mobility and willing to relocate after studies to fulfil the work-back obligation.

2. Applicants usually need to register an account, fill out the application form, and upload required supporting documents (ID, academic transcripts, proof of acceptance if applicable, CV, proof of address etc.).

1. Certified copy of your South African ID
2. Matric certificate or your latest academic results if in Matric
3. If already studying, your previous year’s academic transcript
4. Proof of acceptance/enrolment at a recognised tertiary institution if applicable

6. Proof of residential address (municipal bill or similar)

Closing Date

For the 2025 cycle, the closing date was 06 January 2025.  As of now, there is no officially published closing date for 2026.
