VerifiedThe College of Cape Town (CCT) has not published a January late-application policy. What it does publish is an application window on its myCCT portal, and in recent years that window has run long: to 30 November in 2024 and 2025. So by January most intakes have closed, and your chance depends on which programmes still have space.

If you want to start in January
- Check the myCCT open qualifications list for programmes still taking applications.
- Call the campus that offers your programme to ask about space.
- Apply to another public college in Cape Town whose window is still open.
- Ask the college whether it keeps a waiting list for programmes that are full.
The Department of Higher Education and Training suspended the Central Application Clearing House (CACH) for 2026 entry and named a Central Application Service as its replacement. In September 2026 the CAS website said only that the project is under review.
