Checking your status
- Open the application status page.
- Enter your ID or passport number, cellphone number and email address exactly as you entered them on your application.
- Enter the SMS verification code that is sent to your phone.
- View your status.
If the SMS code does not arrive within three minutes, the details you entered do not match your application. Check for typing errors, especially in your email address.
If you are accepted
Successful applicants receive an SMS asking them to accept or reject the offer by email. Reply before the deadline in the message, or the place may go to someone else.
Returning students
Returning students register online on the returning students page using their student number, ID and email, followed by an SMS code. Online support is on 016 004 0407, option 5.
Good to know
- Sedibeng charges no administration or registration fees.
- Only one application per application period is allowed.
- If you skip a trimester, semester or year, you must apply again as a new applicant.
