Visit the KSD College website, ksdcollege.edu.za.
Open the application link (KSD online application).
Start a new online application.
Capture your personal details.
Capture your academic details.
Capture your contact and address details.
Upload the required documents.
Submit and confirm your application.
Note the student number the system generates.
Create a 5-digit PIN to log in later.

After you apply

KSD selects applicants after the closing date and sends an SMS if you are provisionally accepted or unsuccessful. Log in with your student number and PIN to check your status.

Campuses

Libode, Mapuzi, Mngazi, Mthatha, Ngcobo, Ntabozuko (Elliotdale) and Zimbane. The administration centre is on the R61 Queenstown Road, Cicira Village, Mthatha (047 505 1000).

Entry requirements

NC(V) programmes: from Grade 9.
Occupational programmes: set per programme. For example, the Electrician programme at Mthatha asks for Grade 9 with mathematics and science and a minimum age of 16.
Matric is not required for most NC(V) and many occupational programmes.

Occupational programmes advertised at Mthatha Campus include Electrician, Carpenter, Bricklayer, Computer Technician, Project Manager, Sales Representative and Checkout Operator.

KSD’s 2027 closing date is not on its website. The Higher Education Minister has urged young people to apply before 30 September 2026, so treat that as your deadline if KSD announces nothing else.
