VerifiedKhulisa Academy is a High-Performance Computing training academy launched by Dell in Johannesburg. Khulisa means nurturing in isiZulu, and the academy offers young, previously disadvantaged South Africans a fully funded two-year programme in one of the most specialised corners of IT.
About the Khulisa Academy Bursary
- A fully funded, two-year intensive training programme in High-Performance Computing.
- Training takes place at the academy in Waterfall City, Johannesburg.
- Past graduates have been recruited into IT roles on completion.
Eligibility requirements
- South African-born African citizen; employment equity candidates only, with preference for women.
- Aged 18 to 24, or up to 30 for applicants with a disability.
- At least 60% in Mathematics, Physical Science, English and IT-related subjects, or an IT diploma or degree.
- Not employed full-time or part-time, and willing to complete psychometric tests.
