  2. Register on the CareerWise portal and use the promotion code given in the call.
  3. Upload a certified ID, proof of registration, academic records and proof of residence before the closing date.

Closing date

30 November in the last round (2025, for 2026 studies). No 2027 date has been announced.

2. What is Komatsu South Africa? +
The local arm of the Japanese maker of mining, construction and earthmoving equipment, supplying and servicing machines across Southern Africa.
3. Which fields? +
STEM degrees and diplomas such as engineering, computer science, geology, mining and metallurgy, plus accounting, actuarial science and economics, and trade qualifications such as millwright and heavy earthmoving equipment mechanic.
4. Who qualifies? +
South African citizens in first to fourth year at a public higher education institution. Students from Gamagara and Tsantsabane in the Northern Cape get preference, but others may apply.
5. Who runs applications? +
