The National Metrology Institute of South Africa keeps the country’s national measurement standards, from mass and time to chemical analysis. Its bursaries train the engineers and scientists who do that precise work.
About the NMISA Bursary
- Fields: electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering, materials science, physics and chemistry.
- Undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries.
- Covers registration, tuition, books and residence, with vacation work at NMISA.
NMISA Bursary eligibility requirements
- South African citizen with a Matric exemption or bachelor’s pass.
- Studying full-time at a recognised South African university.
- A strong academic record and financial need.
- Willing to work at NMISA for one year per year funded.

- Complete the form and attach a certified ID, Grade 11 and Matric results, academic records, a CV and motivation letter.
