The South African Society of Music Teachers is the oldest professional music society in Southern Africa. Its study bursary helps members, including music teachers and student members, further their music studies at a South African tertiary institution.

How to apply

  1. Download the form from the study bursary page on sasmt-savmo.co.za.
  2. Attach a certified ID under three months old, full academic record, member recommendation, CV, proof of acceptance, motivation of financial need and a photo about 500 pixels high.
  3. Send it to the executive officer at pmcrundwell@gmail.com before 31 October 2026.
