Where to Collect Your SASSA Grant Payments

Millions of South Africans who rely on SASSA grants need to know where and when they can collect their money each month.

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed that grant disbursements will begin early in the month, and beneficiaries are encouraged to collect their payments safely and conveniently.

October 2026 Payment Schedule

SASSA has released the official payment dates for July:

Older persons grant: Friday, 2 October 2026

Disability grants: Monday, 5 October 2026

Children’s grants: Tuesday, 6 October 2026

Beneficiaries are reminded that there is no need to rush on the day of payment. Once funds are deposited, they remain available in the account until needed.
