Central University of Technology (CUT) Late Applications Link 2027

What is the CUT application closing date for 2027?

The 30 September 2026 deadline covers all undergraduate programmes, as well as Advanced Diplomas, Postgraduate Diplomas, Honours degrees and structured Master’s degrees. 

CUT closes applications on 30 September 2026, and some programmes close earlier when they receive a high number of applications, so submit your complete application online as early as you can.

This date applied to all standard applications for degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Does CUT accept late applications for 2027?

CUT does not accept late applications for standard undergraduate programmes. 

Once the application system closed on the official closing date, the university did not reopen the portal for late entries. 

CUT’s application page states plainly that there are no late applications or walk-in applications for the 2027 cycle.

If you miss the CUT 2027 application deadline, you cannot submit an undergraduate application directly to CUT.

Can I use the Central Application Service (CAS)?

If you do not secure a place at CUT, consider the Central Application Service (CAS), which replaced the Central Applications Clearing House (CACH) from the 2026 academic year. 

CAS is the Department of Higher Education and Training’s central system for applicants who have not been placed at their chosen institutions. 

It may help you find available spaces at other public universities, TVET colleges, or SETA learnerships.

Can postgraduate students apply after the deadline?

For some postgraduate degrees, CUT may allow applications after the standard closing date.

In particular, research-based Master’s and Doctorate programmes have later closing dates.

CUT keeps applications for research Master’s and Doctorate degrees open until 30 March 2027. 

This is only for postgraduate research programmes and not for undergraduate studies.
