A minimum rating of 4 (50–59 %) in English Home Language or First Additional Language

A rating of 4 or higher in four 20-credit subjects, plus at least rating 2 (30–39 %) in one other subject

Life Orientation with a rating of 4 or higher

A total Admission Point Score (APS) of 26 or higher, although many programmes require a higher APS and specific subject results.

  3. Create your application account
  4. Accept the application terms and conditions
  5. After registering, you will receive a student number and temporary PIN via email
  6. Log in and complete your application

What documents must I upload?

Applicants must upload clear copies in PDF, JPG, TIFF, or GIF format of the following:

Proof of application fee payment

Certified copy of ID document or passport (for international applicants)

Grade 12 mid-year results or final NSC results

Guardian consent form if the applicant is under 18

UFH requires a non-refundable application fee of R120.

Most applicants first receive conditional or provisional acceptance based on their mid-year results. Final admission is confirmed after the release of final NSC results in early 2027.
