  • Fields: water engineering and infrastructure, environmental science and management, sustainability and climate, agriculture and food security, public health and emerging technologies.

  • The field must link directly to water quality, technology or infrastructure.

Eligibility requirements

  • Black South African citizen aged 35 or younger.
  • In Matric or with Matric, at an accredited South African institution.
  • A strong academic record and financial need.
  • No other bursary, including NSFAS.

  2. Prepare a certified ID, Matric certificate, recent results, proof of enrolment, fee statement and motivation letter.
  3. Complete the online application form before the closing date.
