ARRCC Bursary South Africa 2026 – Interior Design & Architecture Support

The 2025 bursary opened around 1 August 2024 and closed on 31 October 2024. 

The 2026 dates have not yet been confirmed, but should follow a similar timeline. Prepare your application now and submit as soon as the portal opens.

About the Organisation

ARRCC is a renowned Cape Town-based interior design and décor studio. 

It serves global clients across the residential, hospitality, leisure, and retail sectors. 

The firm established its bursary programme to support emerging South African design talent.

Fields of Study Funded

This bursary supports full-time undergraduate students enrolled in one of the following degrees:

  • Interior Design
  • Interior Architecture
  • BAS Architecture
    The program targets students entering or in their final year of study.

Benefits for Recipients

Selected bursars receive partial tuition fee support (not full coverage). 

In return, bursary recipients must complete their practical training with ARRCC upon graduation. This offers valuable industry exposure and career entry.

Eligibility Criteria 

You must meet all of the following:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be enrolled or accepted full-time in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or BAS Architecture
  • Be in your final year of undergraduate study in 2025/2026
  • Strong academic performance and interest in interior design or architecture

Applications not meeting these criteria will not be considered.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official ARRCC bursary application portal once open (via ARRCC website or designated form).
  2. Complete the online application form accurately.
  3. Enter “www.bursariesafrica.co.za” when prompted for how you heard of the bursary.
  4. Upload all required documents before the closing date. Only online submissions are accepted.

Attach clear and certified copies of:

  • South African ID document
  • Cover letter explaining your career goals
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Design portfolio (max 10 pages)
  • Official university acceptance letter
  • Short motivational video (max 60 seconds)

Missing or uncertified documents may disqualify your application.

Closing Date

While the 2026 deadline has not yet been officially announced, the 2025 bursary closed on 31 October 2024.
