The Baker Hughes Bursary Requirements
If an applicant is to be considered for the Baker Hughes Bursary, they must meet the following requirements:

- University enrollment: You must be a registered student at one of the 26 public universities in South Africa.
- Academic standing: You must be a second-to-final year student with a strong academic record. First-year students are not eligible.
- Field of study: You must be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in one of the following fields:
- Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mining)
- Accounting
- Sales and Marketing
- Financial need: Your family’s combined household income must be below R600 000 per annum.
- No existing bursary: You cannot be a beneficiary of NSFAS or any other bursary program.
