Clockwork is a Johannesburg integrated marketing and communications agency that pays a share of its profits each year into the Clockwork Empowerment Fund. The fund puts three to five young people, mainly black women from disadvantaged backgrounds, through degrees and diplomas in marketing, communications, public relations, design and development, the fields the agency itself hires from.

  • Preference for young black women from disadvantaged backgrounds who could not otherwise afford to study.

How to apply for the Clockwork Bursary

  1. Record a 30-second video introducing yourself and saying why you should be chosen for the bursary.
  2. Gather a certified ID, a certified Matric certificate or your Grade 12 results, a motivation letter, and cost estimates for your course and accommodation.
  3. Email everything to jobs@clockworkmedia.co.za with the subject line “Clockwork Bursary 2027” before the closing date.
