Columbus Stainless Bursary Programme 2027 Applications Open

Columbus Stainless is inviting applications for its 2027 Bursary Programme, providing financial support to talented South African students pursuing studies in engineering and related fields.

Available Bursary Opportunities

Applications are currently being accepted for the following study areas:

• Honours in Material Sciences
• Metallurgy
• Accounting Science or Finance (First-Year Students in 2027)

The bursary is intended for students who will be studying full-time towards an undergraduate qualification during the 2027 academic year.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the Columbus Stainless Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must reside in Middelburg or Witbank.
• Must have a strong academic record with a minimum average of 65%.
• Must be studying Industrial Engineering (B.Eng) during 2026 as a first or second-year student and progress to second or third year in 2027.
• Must be enrolled in a full-time degree programme.
• Diploma studies will not be considered.
• Must be committed to completing a four-year degree qualification.
