Available Bursary Opportunities
Applications are currently being accepted for the following study areas:
- Honours in Material Sciences
- Metallurgy
- Accounting Science or Finance (First-Year Students in 2027)
The bursary is intended for students who will be studying full-time towards an undergraduate qualification during the 2027 academic year.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Columbus Stainless Bursary Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must reside in Middelburg or Witbank.
- Must have a strong academic record with a minimum average of 65%.
- Must be studying Industrial Engineering (B.Eng) during 2026 as a first or second-year student and progress to second or third year in 2027.
- Must be enrolled in a full-time degree programme.
- Diploma studies will not be considered.
- Must be committed to completing a four-year degree qualification.
