Corteva Agriscience, the seed and crop protection company formed from the agricultural businesses of Dow and DuPont and the owner of the Pannar and Pioneer seed brands in South Africa, funds agriculture students from second year onwards. The bursary is generous, worth up to R125 000 a year for postgraduates, and comes with vacation work at Corteva’s research stations and seed operations.

- Fields: agricultural qualifications at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with preference for AgriSETA priority occupations such as agronomy, plant breeding, soil science, agricultural economics and agricultural engineering.

Corteva Bursary eligibility requirements
- South African citizen, currently unemployed and in financial need.
- Completed at least first year and entering second year or higher of a full-time agricultural qualification at an accredited South African institution.
- A strong academic record.
- No other bursary or scholarship apart from NSFAS.

- Prepare a certified ID not older than six months, your academic records with the latest results, proof of registration, fee statements, your parents’ or guardians’ proof of income and a motivation letter.
