GrandWest, Sun International’s Cape Town resort, has run a bursary fund since 2007. It pays most or all of the tuition for about 40 Western Cape students a year.
About the GrandWest Bursary
- About 40 bursaries a year.
- 75% to 100% of tuition, with no payback.
- Textbook allowance, mentoring and job-readiness support.
Eligibility requirements
- South African student from the Western Cape.
- Full-time undergraduate at UCT, UWC, Stellenbosch or CPUT.
- Studying a field in the call, such as hospitality, tourism, engineering, IT or business.
- Financial need and good results.
