About Great North Transport Bursary
The Great North Transport Bursary is designed to assist deserving South African students in obtaining a tertiary education in the field of Transport and Logistics.
The bursary covers tuition fees, accommodation, and other related expenses, enabling recipients to focus on their studies without financial burdens.
Great North Transport Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Great North Transport Bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- South African Citizenship: Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Academic Achievements: Applicants must have completed Matric with a minimum average of 70% in major subjects.
- Field of Study: Applicants must be studying or intending to study a Transport or Logistics-related field at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Full-Time Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled or intending to enroll in a full-time study program.
Great North Transport Bursary Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents along with their completed application form:
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copies of Grade 11 and Matric results
- Certified copies of academic qualifications
- Academic record on the institution’s letterhead, indicating subjects and symbols
- Covering letter
- Bursary motivation (as per section D on the application form)

Applications for the Great North Transport Bursary can be submitted in two ways:
- Hand Delivery: Applications can be delivered to the Training OD/ Manager at 22 Hans van Rensburg Street, Polokwane.
