HCI Foundation Bursary Application Form

Applications for the HCI Foundation Bursary are open annually from August 1st to September 30th.

The HCI Foundation Bursary Requirements

To be eligible for the HCI Foundation Bursary, you must meet every single one of the following requirements:

  1. Be a South African citizen or permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker.
  2. Be 35 years old or younger on the application closing date (September 30th).
  3. Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at a qualifying public university or university of technology in South Africa.
  4. Have a gross family income of less than R38,000 per month.
  5. Demonstrate academic merit and financial need.
  6. Not be currently receiving a full-cost bursary or large partial bursary.

The HCI Foundation Bursary Closing Date

The application deadline for the HCI Foundation Bursary is September 30th of each year.

That means that the application window for the 2024 academic year has already ended.
