The Nestlé Future Talent Bursary Programme 2026 is now open. Nestlé East and Southern Africa is offering bursaries to young South Africans who want to study at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa.
This bursary supports students in key skills areas linked to science, technology, business, agriculture, and digital careers.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply if you meet all of the following requirements:
- You are a South African citizen.
- You are between 17 and 25 years old.
- You are studying or planning to study full-time at a recognised South African institution.
- You achieved a minimum average of 65% in your most recent academic results.
- You are registered or have been accepted for the 2026 academic year.
Fields of Study Covered
The bursary supports students in the following areas:
- Engineering (BSc Engineering)
- Data Analytics
- Computer Science
- Information Technology (IT)
- Innovation and Digital / E-commerce
- Brand Management
- Social Media Marketing
- Media and Communications
- Agriculture
- Food Science and Technology
What the Bursary Covers
The bursary may cover:
- Tuition fees
- Registration fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation (if applicable)
Funding is paid directly to the institution.
Required Documents
You must submit certified copies of the following:
- South African ID document
- Latest academic results
- Proof of registration or admission letter
- Matric certificate
- Full academic record (for current students)
Additional documents may include:
- Official fee statement from the institution
- Letter from the institution confirming year and duration of study
- Prescribed book list and quotation
- Proof of accommodation costs (if applicable)
Important Notes
- Completing the application form does not guarantee funding.
- Students must reapply every year — the bursary is not automatically renewed.
- Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
How to Apply
