VerifiediThemba LABS is the National Research Foundation’s centre for accelerator-based science, producing medical isotopes and running nuclear physics research. Its undergraduate bursary funds engineering and computing students who could support its facilities.
About the iThemba LABS Bursary
- Fields: electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering, mechatronics and computer science.
- Covers full tuition fees only.
- Selection on academic merit.
Eligibility requirements
- South African citizen with Matric.
- In second year of a listed field at a recognised South African institution.
- At least a 60% average in first year.
- A strong academic record.
