SASSA’s Social Grant Payment Dates for July 2026
The monthly disbursement schedule includes all categories of social assistance – from Old Age and Disability to Child Support and the recently increased Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, now R370.
Breakdown of July 2026 SASSA payment dates:
- Old age and war veterans grants: Thursday, 2 July 2026
- Disability and care dependency grants: Friday, 3 July 2026
- Child support and foster child grants: Monday, 6 July 2026
- Grant-in-Aid: Wednesday, 2 July to Friday, 4 July 2026
- SRD R370 Grant: Friday, 25 July to Thursday, 31 July 2026
These payment dates are designed to stagger disbursements, preventing congestion at stores and ATMs and ensuring all approved beneficiaries receive their grant money on time.

Important Updates:
SASSA increased social grant amounts from April 2026: older persons, disability and care dependency grants to R2,400, child support to R580 and foster child to R1,290. The SRD grant stays at R370 and runs to 31 March 2027. See the 2026/27 payment calendar.
