Steps
- Apply for NSFAS first if you need funding.
- Open utvet.co.za in Google Chrome and have a valid email address ready.
- Log in or register using your ID number as your username.
- Choose Northdale Campus and your programme.
- Upload PDF copies of your certified ID, certified results, proof of residence, and your next of kin’s or guardian’s certified ID.
- Submit and keep your details.
Entry requirements

NATED N1 to N3 no longer accept new students, so there is no “Grade 10 with maths and science” route into N1 any more.
When to apply
UTVET’s windows are short. For 2026 entry it took applications from 13 to 31 October 2025, and in 2026 it ran a part-time business studies window from 13 to 31 July. Watch the college’s official Facebook page and website for 2027 dates.
