Business programmes in 2027
UTVET has not published a campus-by-campus programme list online. Two national changes matter if you are choosing a business programme for 2027:
- NATED business N4 to N6 programmes are being phased out, so first-time N4 intakes are ending.
- According to college notices of DHET circular TC 0153, NC(V) Finance, Economics and Accounting, Management, Marketing and Office Administration take no new Level 2 students from January 2027.
- Business-related occupational certificates, such as Bookkeeper or Office Administrator, are replacing them at many colleges.
Ask the campus which business programmes are open to first-year students in 2027.
Part-time study
UTVET has run part-time business studies intakes; its 2026 part-time window was 13 to 31 July. Part-time classes suit working students, but check whether NSFAS funds your chosen part-time programme.
