- Technology and engineering: civil, computer, electrical computer systems and industrial engineering, computer science, data science, information systems, information technology and mathematics.
- Other: forensic science and technology, human resource management, and security and safety management.
- Levels: bachelor’s degrees, national diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas and national certificates.
Eligibility requirements
- South African citizen with a Matric bachelor’s pass.
- A first-year student, no older than 35.
- Currently unemployed, with demonstrated financial need.
- A strong academic record and acceptable class attendance.
How to apply
- Request the application form from the trust when the round opens.
- Attach an ID-size photograph, a certified ID, a certified Matric certificate, full academic transcripts, proof of acceptance or registration, household income documents, a police clearance certificate and a two-page typed essay.
- Email everything to mifferndrim@africacosmos.co.za and jessier@africacosmos.co.za, or hand-deliver it to SBV House, 17 8th Street, Houghton, Johannesburg.
