Energy Mobility Education Trust Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the EMET Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen classified as Black according to the B-BBEE Act
- Be 40 years old or younger at the time of application
- Be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or postgraduate program in one of the specified energy-related fields at a partner university (University of Johannesburg, University of Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria, or University of Fort Hare)
- Be in your 3rd or final year of undergraduate studies, or pursuing Honours, Masters, or PhD studies
- Have a total household income of not more than R600,000 per annum

The application deadline for the EMET Scholarship typically falls in November or December each year.
