  4. Be enrolled or about to enrol for a final-year undergraduate, Honours, Master’s or PhD programme for the 2026 academic year.
  5. Be studying at one of the partner South African universities: University of the Witwatersrand, University of Johannesburg, University of Pretoria, North‑West University, University of Limpopo or University of the Western Cape.
  6. Have a household combined income of no more than R 600 000 per annum.
  7. Be pursuing a qualification in one of the approved fields: Engineering, Science, Technology, Information, Computer, Mathematical or Statistical Sciences; Commerce (Accounting, Actuarial Science), etc.
