Are you a South African student passionate about a career in civil engineering, quantity surveying, or surveying?

If you are, then the Hillary Construction Bursary program might be the perfect fit for you.

This bursary offered by Hillary Construction, a leading civil engineering contractor in South Africa, provides financial support to deserving students pursuing studies in these fields.

About the Hillary Construction Bursary

The Hillary Construction Bursary is designed to assist academically deserving students who might not otherwise have the financial means to pursue tertiary education in civil engineering, quantity surveying, or surveying.

The bursary covers a significant portion of a student’s academic expenses, including:

  1. Annual registration fees
  2. Tuition fees
  3. Examination fees
  4. Monthly stipend for accommodation, food, and travel
  5. Study-related equipment (subject to request)

In addition to the financial support, successful candidates are offered a unique opportunity.

Following the first year of bursary funding, recipients are given the chance to participate in a one-year Learnership in Road Construction program.

This practical experience allows students to gain valuable industry knowledge and skills before returning to complete their studies.

Performance during the learnership is a factor considered for continued bursary support in the following year.
