Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this funding, applicants must meet the following strict criteria. Please note that failing to satisfy any of these requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • You must be a South African citizen.
  • You must identify as a Black female.
  • You must have successfully completed Matric.
  • You must be studying full-time at a recognized and accredited university in South Africa.
  • You must be entering your 2nd year, 3rd year, or postgraduate studies in 2026 (First-year students are not eligible for this funding).
  • You must have a strong academic record with a minimum overall average of 60% in your most recent year of study.
  • You must be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • You must show leadership potential through involvement in school, community, or university activities.
  • Students with disabilities who meet the criteria are highly encouraged to apply.

How to Apply for the KN Inzuzo Trust Bursary 2026

The application process requires you to download a formal application form and submit it along with several supporting documents. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Download the Form: Obtain the KN Inzuzo Trust Bursary Application Form 2026.

Closing Date

The closing date for the KN Inzuzo Trust Bursary is 31 January 2026.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, which is expected to take place in January or February 2026. Final awards will be announced by the Trust in March 2026. If you do not hear from the Trust after the selection period, please consider your application unsuccessful.
